Currently in BUF right now getting ready to head over to Prior Aviation to re-qualify the fuelers for another two years. I am STARTING to wear down from this gypsy life - not totally, but a little. I'd kind of like to stay home more this summer so I can get the house ready to sell. Ya know, I want to move home (Terre Haute) but then again I am OK with were we live (in the summer). Got a nice house, a GREAT shop, good friends, good neighbors. But I'm getting old now and there is this primeval (speeling?) feeling or urge to go to my homegrounds to die. Why is that? Some animals do that don't they?
Wed I will be flying down to MSN (Madison WI) to do some maintenance training with our maintenance vendor - Wisconsin Aviation. This weekend the weather looks great at home so I'll probably spend most of it down at the airport flying. The following week has me in RDU (Raleigh-Durham NC) then out to my favorite state of Montana to Kalispell, just below Glacier National Park. This will be followed up by flying back out to California for the Apple Valley Aerobatic Contest (up in the high desert above LA) where I will be the Starter for the contest (the guy who does the last minute briefings to the pilot, make sure their airplane is safe and tells them when they can launch). Katie will be the contest coordinator - ensuring everyone is in place when and where they should be along with lots of other duties including photo work. Chrissy may join us for the weekend if she is not out flying an Air Force mission.
