Well, let me drag my book out to see where I have been the last three weeks - OK, not bad, Cedar Rapids IA and Las Vegas NV... that's it, some of my other trips got canx. Last week I spent at Apple Valley CA at the Aerobatic Contest, had a great time, Kate got be a BIG birthday cake which of course I shared with everyone. Really enjoyed the contest, met some new acro pilots, and saw lots of old friends.
On the home front I have the bathroom completely gutted, all new drywall up and done. new shower installed. Tomarrow the new tile flooring goes in, then I will install new toilet and vanity and finish off the storage space with new louvered fold-out doors.
OK, the cat is out of the bag!! back in FEB I went out and bought a brand spanking new DR650SE dual-sport motorsycle. I did not tell Chrissy until last weekend - but I was surprised, see was OK with it. I got it to do a specific job, that would be to replace my touring bicycle - I am tired of being chased by mad dogs, having beer cans tossed out car windows at me and other things... now I can outrun the dogs, chase down beer can throwers and carry more camping gear. This bike was built specifically to ride on the pave....all the way to where the good stuff starts - the DIRT ROADS and trails.... here is a picture of my new toy:

I'll be headed to New York to work in Tue/Wed, then on Sat I think I'll fly down to visit Mom & Dad in Terre Haute, just for the weekend. I might also go carpet/tile/flooring shopping to visit an old friend.
