Pitts Project Day 14

Today was bungee day.  If you have ever changed landing gear bungee cords you may know it as "Hell Day".  Today though for me was fairly easy.  The engine and firewall were removed making it an easy task.  I already own a bungee tool so that was not a problem.  I first lifted the front end off the ground with my host to release any tension on the bungees.  I then cut off the old bungees using a jig saw blade.. pretty easy.  After cleaning the area of oil and grease I placed one of the four bungees in place and using the bungee tool and a little grease to help the bungee slide up the tool better I proceeded to crank it up and pop it into place.  The other three followed suit.  Yeh, thats right I used a bit of grease on the tool and bungee...ya got a problem with that??  Next up... reinstall firewall.  Over & Out!
