Back in Fairbanks AK

So after I reached Fairbanks around midnight I was so tired I just threw my sleeping bag on the ground at the Rivers Edge RV park and went to sleep.  Next day I rode down to Eillison AFB to try to get a room at billeting.  There was a joint military exercise going on so no rooms were available - I headed out back to a picnic area and spend the evening and night there (upper photo) - then headed back to Rivers Edge RV park and got a spot while I waited for Chrissy to fly in from MSP.  While waiting around for a few days, I explored Fairbanks.  The lower photo is the enterance to the East Ramp (General Aviation) at the Fairbanks Airport.  Chrissy would arrive the following day, we would pick up her motorcycle at the shop and head South towards Denali and ANC.  Over & Out!
