Man a lot of stuff can happen in a month. Rode out to Sturgis with my buddy Lace Town, had a good time but came back early cause Chrissy was sick. She has some serious issues with her neck discs being really screwed up. She has been pretty much bed-ridden now for the last three weeks but she is getting better and will have surgery shortly to fix the problem. Rode up to Hayward WI and hit a lot of the back roads up there in the forest. Then rode to Duluth MN for the big Aerostich Rally last weekend. Over 500 bikers showed up from all over the states. Aerostich are the folks that make the world-famous motorcycle riding suits. I got one... $800.00!! but it is a good investment. If I go down on pavement it'll save my hide.
The big BMW I got?? Sold her already.. she was way too big for me... every time I stopped it was an Adventure. I could not flat-foot her, I was always on tippy-toes when I stopped... Did put 4000 miles on her though.
Am leaving tomarrow for California for a week to see Katie graduate on SUN - Yahoooooo!!! finally!! now if she can just get a job! Also Chrissy will have surgery next week out at Travis AFB so I need to be there to hold her hand... At the end of SEPT I will go back out to CALIF, help Chrissy load all her stuff up and drive her home... her year-long active duty stint will be over.
