Two weeks after getting home from my cycling vacation - I went back to Yellowstone... this time Chrissy and I took our friend Sandy Logan with us. Sandy has been my clerk at work for over 15 years. She has been widowed now for over a year and needed a vacation to just get away...she had never been to Yellowstone and the Tetons so Chrissy and I decided to take her out there... we were in the park for 5 days and had a great time.
I have just returned from PSP (Palm Springs CA) where I did some training with our maintenance vendor, then drove up to Ventura CA to visit our daughter Katie and do the annual inspection on the J3 Cub. Chrissy drove down from Travis AFB to join us... We celebrated Katies 33ed birthday, then drove back to Travis where I caught a flight back to MSP from Sacramento.
Tonight I am headed down to CDR (Cedar Rapids IA) to do some training with our new ramp folks, back on Thursday then I'll be headed down to IND to celebrate my Dad's 83ed birthday...
For those of you who have not heard, Chrissy has been called back to active duty for an entire year... Oct 07 to Oct 08. this should be here last active duty stint before retirement. So I am alone again for another year.
