Just returned from the "Duel in the Desert" Aerobatic Contest in Apple Valley CA.  Had a great time... about 10 of us stayed at Jim Nahom's casa in Victorville.  Jim and Judi were awesome hosts.. we watched "Cloud Dancer" and laughed all the way thru it.  The contest went VERY smooth... Sportsman was won by young gun Sammy Mason, while Intermediate was taken by Chris Olmsted - both from Santa Paula Airport in CA.  Next contest is Redlands in Jul.

Finished painting the tail sections on the Aeronca and am in the process of installing and rigging as you can see in the photo.  Over & Out!
