104 Days to OSHKOSH!!
Having a great time in Terre Haute (a mini-vacation with family and friends). Easter Sunday we had a family get-together at the Toyko House over on 3ed street and had Asian food... Curt and Debbie are heavy into the Chinese culture and know the folks who own the place. It was a nice evening. OH forgot to mention - it was Mom's 80th birthday (she refuses to acknowedge it) haha...
Did the annual inspection on my Mom's airplane, found a couple issues - one was pretty serious - but now she will be good to go for another year. She also passed her flight physical yesterday.
Yesterday I spent a lot of time out at Sky King airport with the Aeronca. Flew a bit, taught Curt how to "prop" the airplane to get her started and we taxied her around a bit. Last night had Dinner with Seth & Chrissy (Seth's girlfriend) at "Cheeseburger in Paridise" - I love their burgers there and make sure I eat there at least once everytime I am in town.
Today I'll spend some more time out at Sky King, and maybe take a side trip down to Prairie Creek. If it was nice I'd go play a round of golf at Rea Park, but it is raining again.
Tomarrow morning it's up early and ride North back to Milwaukee Airport to do more training with our folks there. Riding back home sometime on Friday.
That's it for now...
