Well, I am here in Atlanta for the week. Last night I drove down to Peachtree City Airport (Falcon Field) where Aircraft Spruce East is located. Ordered some wing covering materials and shot the bull with the parts guy about local airports. He suggested I try Thomaston airport, some 60 minutes South of Atlanta. He describes the airport as a "Rouge, or Outlaw" airport where I would be right at home. Nobody bothers you there except for other airplane people. You can park your truck in the hangar with your airplane and live there and the only person that will mess with you is the airport manager who might wake you up in the morning to tell you the coffee is on over at the FBO. Tonight after class I will head down there and check the place out.

Things are going well in class, I am sitting in on Dan Reutzel's first two days for his Powerplant class then I take over on Wen with Airplane Systems. I forgot my cell phone so if anyone is trying to call me you are out of luck until I get home on SAT evening. I will post pictures tomarrow of Thomaston airport.
