Did a trip to New York for training, then dad died and we flew down to Terre Haute for visitation and funeral.  Was a very nice funeral, Curt did a great job.  We put dad in the old 28 Oldsmobile hurse (I think I spelled that wrong), and the Honey Creek Fire Department let the procession in a big fire truck and the fire chief's vehicle.  There was an actual fire on the way to the cemetery and one of the fire trucks had to turn on the sirens and split for the fire (dad would have liked that).  We took him to New Harmony cemetery (we own that one) and buried him as the EAA Chapter 83 did a final flyby for dad.

He died just two days short of his 84th birthday.  He had a good, full life and we will all miss him dearly.
