Riding the Dalton Part 7 - The Tundra
After leaving the Aitgun Pass and the Brooks Range we enter "The Tundra" which is void of anything except the billions of Carry-boo and the grizzlies and bow-hunters. Its totally flat for the rest of the 150 miles to the Artic Ocean. The top picture is taken around 10PM about 25 miles S of Deadhorse. The lower photo about 100 miles S of Deadhorse - however it reflects all of the landscape N of the Brooks Range.
